With Gucci’s groundbreaking announcement earlier this month that it is going fur free, we all thought that fur was on the way out, no sooner than it had actually made a comeback. Yet The Business of Fashion makes some salient points not only about the sustainable attributes (or lack thereof) of faux fur, but also about whether millennials’ growing penchant for fur can be so easily dispelled.
